Source Methodology

We rank sources to prioritize primary documents and consistent editorial integrity.

Our tier system is a curated editorial allowlist that guides how we surface and contextualize reporting. It does not replace independent verification, but it helps prioritize high-integrity sources and primary documentation.

Tiers

  • Primary Source: Official documents, filings, direct research, or first-party disclosures.
  • Tier 1: Global outlets with consistent original reporting and strong corrections practices.
  • Tier 2: Reputable publishers with solid reporting, regional focus, or specialized coverage.
  • Tier 3: Emerging or niche sources that may be valuable but require additional verification.
  • Unranked: Not yet reviewed by our editorial team.
